Building Public Trust
Through both national issues management and proactive projects, the Public and Stakeholder Engagement program works to build public trust in the way beef cattle are raised in Canada. Program manager Amie Peck will present on successful projects like Guardians of the Grasslands and tools and resources available for producers to advocate on behalf of the industry.

Core vaccinations, vaccinations for special circumstances and herd health tips. Everything from calfhood vaccinations for protection against summer respiratory disease to fetal protection for your cowherd. Dr. Lewis will share other herd health tips that everyone can learn from.

Dr. Campbell will look at some of the emerging conditions that cause fertility problems in today's cow herd. Nutritional deficiencies and several infections that cause abortions and calf deaths are at the top of the list.
Foot Rot – Not Always the Cause of Lameness
What are some of the causes of lameness and how should cattle producers recognize these conditions and deal with them? Dr. Campbell identifies some of the common causes of lameness in this concise presentation.
