WHAT IS THE
FRIENDS OF CANADIAN CHAROLAIS FOUNDATION (FCCF)?
One of the most vital pieces for the future of Charolais breed in Canada is to develop the Friends of Canadian Charolais Foundation.
Incorporated in 2021, the Friends of Canadian Charolais Foundation (FCCF) is a not for-profit registered foundation put in place to continue development of and expand the Charolais breed, for future generations to enjoy and take part in. A board of directors, which consists of dedicated volunteers who are actively involved in the Charolais breed, govern the foundation. The foundation is driven by focusing on its key objectives; education, promotion, scientific research and youth development.
KEY OBJECTIVES
Scholarships, Bursaries & Prizes
To provide scholarships, bursaries and prizes to advance education in the field of beef production.
Youth
To provide funding for the advancement and benefit of youth agricultural activities.
Education & Research
To promote education, research and development concerning specific agricultural topics that will benefit the entire beef industry. To provide education and research opportunities in the field of beef production.
Fundraising
To raise funds to carry on the purpose of the Corporation.
